Happy Birthday, My Precious Daughter

You are my precious daughter.  Precious – valuable, of high cost or worth. One who is dear or beloved.  You are loved – unconditionally, not for WHAT you do, but for WHO you are.  

God was so kind to bless us with you.  You complete our family. It has been an awesome pleasure to be your mom for these years.  I am thankful every day for the trust God had in your dad and me to give you to us.  

I’m so proud of who you are growing up to be.  You have a sweet sacrificing spirit that blesses all those whom you touch with your life. Your love for God and love for others is a sweet aroma to Dad and me.  

I know I’ve made mistakes, thank you for your forgiving spirit.  I know we may not always see eye-to-eye, and I want you to know – that’s ok.  You are developing into who God made you to be – and I’m thankful that’s not just a copy of me.  Eeks! What a thought that is! 🙂  

I pray you will continue to learn and grow this next year.  You have a good mind and I am excited to see you preparing for God to use you in your future.  

I love you with all my heart and thank God every day for allowing me the privilege of being called your Mom.
